Core Concepts
Products
A Product is an individual item on your menu — a dish, drink, or anything else you offer. You create products once and can place them in any menu section.
Creating a product
Go to Products → New Product. Choose the business it belongs to, give it a name, set a price, and upload at least one photo. Everything else is optional and can be filled in later.
Products belong to a business, not directly to a menu. Once created, you add the product to a menu by opening that menu and placing it inside a section.
Images
You can upload multiple photos per product. The first image is used as the thumbnail in grid views. Good photography makes a real difference — customers are much more likely to order something they can see.
Variants
If an item comes in multiple sizes or options — for example a coffee in Small, Medium, and Large — use Variants. Each variant can have its own price. The customer picks one before adding the item to their order.
When variants are set up, the base price is removed — each variant carries its own price instead.
Modifier groups
Modifier groups let customers customise their order beyond just size. Examples: choice of sauce, extra toppings, cooking preference. Each group has a name, a list of options, and a rule for how many the customer can pick.
Each option can have an extra charge attached, or be free — useful for things like "choice of dressing" where the customer chooses but the price stays the same.
Additional details
You can enrich each product with extra information that helps customers make informed choices:
- Description — a short text shown below the product name on the menu.
- Allergens — standardised EU allergen flags (gluten, nuts, dairy, etc.) displayed as icons on the menu.
- Ingredients — a free-text list shown on the product detail view.
Visibility
Each product has a Publicly Visible toggle. Turning it off removes the product from all menus at once — handy when an item runs out or is temporarily unavailable. Turn it back on when it is available again.
