QR Codes

Every business on Platerly gets a unique QR code and a permanent public URL — ready to print and share the moment you go live.

Overview

When you create a business, Platerly automatically generates a QR code and a public URL for it. The URL is based on your business slug and always points to your business's public page — where customers can browse your menu, see your opening hours, and find your contact details.

Customers scan the QR code with their phone camera and the page opens instantly in their browser. No app download required.

Your public URL

Your business URL is based on the slug you set when creating the business:

https://platerly.app/[business-slug]
Changing your business slug after printing QR codes will break all existing codes. Set your slug before you print at scale, and avoid changing it once your codes are live.

Using your QR code

You can download your QR code from the business settings page and use it anywhere — print it on table cards, hang it at the entrance, add it to receipts or packaging, or post it on social media.

Table cards

Print and laminate the QR code for each table. Customers scan to browse the menu and build their order without flagging down staff.

Entrance display

A large QR code at the entrance lets customers browse your menu while waiting to be seated.

Receipts & packaging

Add your QR code to printed receipts or takeaway packaging so customers can find you again easily.

Social media

Post the QR code on Instagram or Facebook Stories — followers who screenshot and scan land directly on your live menu.
